Sunday, June 29th:
Annual Newton Sky Kings/Harold
Berryhill Memorial Float Fly(Spring Edition)To
be held at the Co-Line Welding Facility Southeast of Sully,
Iowa,Setup to begin around 9a.m. and Flying to
commence around 10:30.Flying will continue until

Friday, July 4th(also July
5th):
Annual Newton Sky Kings(Davy Days)/Swap
Meet Fun Fly.We will be having a two day event
this year as the 4th falls on Friday. Activities for Friday are as
folllows; Setup to begin around 8:30 to 9
a.m. with Pilot sign-in at 9:15 a.m. Proof of adequate Liability
Insurance(AMA etc...) is required to fly. Flying will commence
as soon as the Parade in Newton is over, Flying will continue until
about an hour before the fireworks in Newton are set to begin.The
Swap Meet is free to sell item's in. The Swap area will be at the
south end of the pit area. All radio equipment for sale in the Swap
Must be checked in to the transmitter impound and have the frequency
pin to be shown.On Saturday, July 5th We will be having General
Relaxed flying activities.
Sunday, July 13th:
Annual Baxter Fun Days Flight
Demonstration/Fun Fly. We put on a flight demo every year during the
Baxter Fun Days Celebration. We invite you to come show the
Townsfolk how much fun our hobby really is. Setup for the event
will be around 11:30 with Flying from around 1 p.m. to Sunset.
Easiest way to get directions to Baxter would be to go to www.mapquest.com and print a map
from your location to Baxter. The airstrip is located on the
southeast corner of town behind the Nursing home.

Giant Buzzards/Second Yearly Swap Meet:Setup to
begin around 8:30 to 9 a.m. with Pilot sign-in at 9:15 a.m. Flying
will commence at 10 a.m. with flying continuing until Sunset.Proof
of adequate Liability Insurance(AMA etc...) is required to
fly. The Swap Meet is free to sell item's in. The Swap area

Monoplanes 80 inches and up, Bi-Planes 60 inches and up.
